Homework
At Castle Hill Infant School, we believe that reading is the key to independent learning. We would like your child to read at least three times a week at home and practise their key words and any phonics that the teachers ask to be practised. Please could you record this in your child's diary.
We also ask that all parents join in with home learning projects that are set at the start of each project. This is an opportunity to share in your child's learning and add to their understanding of their current project.
There are other types of homework that you and your child can engage in, such as cooking, trips out, clubs etc Please write these in the diary so we can talk to your child about them.
The school also will give you access to EducationCity, Oxford Owl and Purple Mash. These websites will have things set for the children that they can do at home if they wish.
