School Nursing Team
The School Nursing service works in partnership with children, young people and their families to ensure that pupil's health needs are supported within their school and their community. This includes those attending a school within Hampshire and those that are electively home educated (except Southampton and Portsmouth city schools).
Your School Nursing team is led by qualified nurses who have a Specialist Community Public Health degree. The team consists of Community Staff Nurses, Community Nursery Nurses, School Nurse Assistants and Administrators. School Nurses work closely with a number of other services, including Education, GP's, the Voluntary Sector, Youth services and Hampshire Children's services. They can often signpost you to the most appropriate organisation to help you.
