Music Vision
At Castle Hill Infant School we aim for all of our pupils to develop a life-long love of music. We strive to provide a high-quality music education through a wide range of musical experiences which engage and inspire our children. Our music curriculum values creativity, curiosity and excitement and enables children to develop our school values of self-esteem and community by working collaboratively. It provides music opportunities for all as we believe that music is a powerful, unique form of communication that can support mental health and impact on how pupils’ feel, think and act. The teaching of music will develop pupils’ ability to listen, analyse, sing, compose and perform music with the understanding of and progression of skill and musical elements.
